Hey! Nice podcast. I acaltuly saw your comment on Amazon for the Behringer XENYX 802 Mixer, which I too own and on the Consumerism episode I thought it sounded pretty good. What sounds cards do you use to record with? Unfortunately my motherboard is a failure and it produces all sorts of buzzing and static. So I have resorted to using a cheap USB sound card which is better, but still produces a little noise.I also have the Behringer C-1 Studio Condenser mic, which I have to say is a decent mic.I use FX send on the mixer so its easier to control what goes in and out of the computer. For cables I use a 1/8 to RCA cable and a 1/4 to RCA adapter. I have found using this, instead of using just 1/4 to 1/8 cable reduces some unwanted sound. That whole cable setup is for Line-In 3/4. Line-In 5/6 is currently unused. How do you have your mixer setup?
